|1||egg, lightly whisked|
|2 tbsp||icing sugar|
|vanilla ice cream|
Sift flour, sugar, and salt together. Combine milk and egg, then add to dry ingredients. Whisk to form a smooth batter
Peel and core apples. Slice each apple into thin rounds.
Dip apple rounds into batter, shaking away excess. Deep fry in batches, for about 1 minute on each side, until puffed and golden. Transfer to a wire rack. Sift icing sugar, dust with cinnamon. Serve with ice cream.
