|4 slices||rye bread|
|4 oz||brie cheese, sliced (or Swiss cheese)|
|8 oz||Black Forest ham|
|mustard, if desired|
|apricot preserve, if desired|
Lightly butter each slice of bread on one side. Place two slices of bread buttered side down on a pan over medium heat. Layer the ham and cheese on top. Spread mustard and/or preserve over the second piece of bread, if desired, then close the sandwich. Grill until golden brown on each side.
