4 oz | brie cheese, sliced (or Swiss cheese) |
8 oz | Black Forest ham |

mustard, if desired | |
apricot preserve, if desired |
Lightly butter each slice of bread on one side. Place two slices of bread buttered side down on a pan over medium heat. Layer the ham and cheese on top. Spread mustard and/or preserve over the second piece of bread, if desired, then close the sandwich. Grill until golden brown on each side.
