Granola-Yogurt Snack Recipe
|3 cups||old-fashioned oats|
|2 cups||quick rolling oats|
|1 cup||chopped pecans (or sliced almonds)|
|1/4 cup||maple syrup|
|1 cup||dried cranberries|
|fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries)|
|5 cups ||low fat yogurt (plain or vanilla)|
- Preheat oven to 300F.
- Combine oats and nuts in a large bowl.
- Combine maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg in smaller bowl. Pour over oat mixture, stirring to coat.
- Spread mixture evenly on a greased baking sheet. Bake 45-60 minutes, until toasted, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Make yogourt parfaits by layering the yogourt, the oat mixture, and top with fresh fruit.
