Chicken Fried Steak Recipe
|1 tsp||seasoned salt|
|2 lb||beef cube steaks|
|2 tbsp||vegetable oil|
|2 cups||cold water|
|1 package||gravy mix|
- Mix flour and seasoned salt in shallow dish. Dip steaks into milk then coat with flour mixture. Repeat dipping to use up milk and flour.
- Fry steaks in hot oil in large skillet 5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, stir water gradually into gravy mix with wire whisk in 2-quart saucepan.
- Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 minute. Serve gravy over steak.
