Warm Rum Sauce Recipe

Serve Warm Rum Sauce on a scoop of Charred Orange Sorbet and Spiced Cookie Bar.


3 tbspbutter, divided
4seedless oranges, peeled and sectioned
1/3 cupgranulated sugar
1/4 cuporange juice
2 tbspblack rum


  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat.
  2. Place orange sections in skillet.
  3. Sprinkle sugar around oranges.
  4. Cook 10 minutes or until sugar begins to caramelize, gently stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  5. Add orange juice and rum. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in remaining 1 tablespoon butter until melted.
  7. Serve immediately
