Ingredients

4 slicesbread
1egg
pinchsalt
sugar
water
oil

Preparation

  1. Cut each bread slice into 4 squares. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl mix in egg, sugar, flour and salt with water, as needed.
  3. Make a lump free thick batter.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  5. Dip each bread piece in the batter.
  6. Fry bread on both the sides until golden brown in colour.
  7. Bread fritters are ready. Serve immediately along with tea.
