- Cut each bread slice into 4 squares. Set aside.
- In a bowl mix in egg, sugar, flour and salt with water, as needed.
- Make a lump free thick batter.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
- Dip each bread piece in the batter.
- Fry bread on both the sides until golden brown in colour.
- Bread fritters are ready. Serve immediately along with tea.
