Chilli Prawns Recipe


500gcleaned shrimp
1onion, chopped
1 tbspginger, chopped
1 tbspgarlic, chopped
1 smallcapsicum
1/2 cupspring onion, chopped
1 tspchilli powder
1/2 tbspcrushed pepper
1 tbspsoy sauce
1-2 tbsptomato sauce
3 tbspplain flour
3 tbspcornflour
1 tbspcrushed pepper
1egg white


  1. Mix number 2 ingredients with a little water and make a thick paste.
  2. Marinate the prawns in this paste for 20 minutes.
  3. Fry the prawns and keep it aside.
  4. In the same oil saute ginger, garlic and chopped onion.
  5. When the onion becomes soft add capsicum and spring onion. Saute for 5 minutes.
  6. Add chilli powder and crushed pepper. Mix well.
  7. Add the sauces and salt. Stir for a few minutes.
  8. Add the fried prawns. Mix well. Cook for some more minutes until it becomes dry.
  9. Garnish with spring onion.
