Lassi (Smoothie) Recipe


Lassis are a yoghurt drink originating from the northern state of Punjab. A perfect blend of yoghurt, water, salt or sugar and sometimes spices, blended until frothy. 

Ingredients

8 tbspplain yogurt
150mLcold water
1 tspsugar
1ripe mango, chopped
1banana
pinchground cinnamon
crushed ice

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a blender, or whisk together in a large jug. Add more water if needed.
  2. Taste and add more sugar. If fruit is really ripe then you shouldn't need to.
  3. Serve chilled.
