Kerala Style Chicken Cutlet Recipe


1/2 kgboneless chicken
1onion, large
1 tbspginger, chopped
2-3green chiles, chopped
1potato, boiled & mashed
1 tsppepper powder
1 tspgaram masala
1 cupbreadcrumbs
1-2egg whites
curry leaves


  1. Cook and mince chicken.
  2. Saute onion until it becomes soft.
  3. Add chopped ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.
  4. Add minced chicken. Mix well.
  5. Add salt, pepper powder & garam masala. Stir for 5 minutes, then remove from gas.
  6. Allow mixture to cool. Once it is cooled add mashed potatoes and mix well.
  7. Make small balls with the mixture and roll into desired shapes.
  8. Beat the egg white. Dip each cutlet in egg white and roll with bread crumbs. Deep fry in oil.
  9. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
