Salsa Verde Recipe

Ingredients

1.25 lbtomatillos
1jalapeno
3 clovesgarlic
1 tspMexican oregano
1 tspcumin
1medium white onion
1/2 cupcilantro
1lime, juiced
salt
pepper

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in the food processor (or blender) and process until smooth.
  2. Pour into a medium to large sauce pan and cook over low heat for about 5-8 minutes.
  3. Garnish with green onion and serve with chips.
