Ingredients

700gbeef sirloin, sliced into 1,5 cm thick slices
6 tbspwhite miso
6 tbspred miso
2 tbspbrown sugar
1/2 cupsake
2 tspgrated ginger
Japanese dried leaves for grilling
spring onion, sliced

Preparation

  1. Mix both kinds of miso, sugar, sake and ginger.
  2. Marinate meat in miso, about 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Soak grilling leave in water, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place tin foil on the bottom of frying pan, place leaf and arrange meat slices on it.
  5. Grill about 7 minutes, flip side and continue for about 5 minutes.
  6. Serve sprinkled with spring onions.
