Apple Brioche Recipe


Try this delicious apple and orange brioche.

Ingredients

150mLmilk
2eggs
50gbutter
250gspelt flour
150gwheat flour
50gsugar
pinchsalt
5 gramsdried yeast (1 package)
1apple, peeled and sliced
2 tbsporange jam
1 tbsplemon juice
2 tbspsugar
1 tbspbrandy
1/2 tspcinnamon

Preparation

  1. Place dough ingredients in bread maker. Choose program for brioche or sweet yeast bread. OR knead dough ingredients well, place in warm place to rise dough for about 1 hour. Dough: milk, eggs, flours, sugar, salt and yeast.
  2. Sprinkle apple slices with lemon juice, 2 tbsp sugar, cinnamon, brandy and mix with orange jam.
  3. Once dough doubles its size, roll out, sprinkle with apple pieces, roll, seal ends and place in baking tray.
  4. Smear top with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Bake in bread maker. OR bake in the oven at 180C, about 1 hour.
