Onion Soup Recipe


A quick and easy soup for when you don't have time to go shopping; it tastes great, especially on cold days!

Ingredients

4big onions, halved and sliced
2eggs, whipped
4 cupschicken stock
2 tbsplight soy sauce
1/2 tspwhite pepper
1 tbsppotato starch
2 tbspwater
2 tbspbutter
1 stalkgreen onion (for garnish)

Preparation

  1. Melt butter in a pot, add onion, fry until translucent, then add stock.
  2. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 min.
  3. Add soy sauce and white pepper.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Mix potato starch with water and pour into soup, mix.
  6. Pour in eggs, bit by bit and stir gently.
  7. Garnish with green onion and serve.
