Nobu Black Cod Recipe


Simple but delicious recipe; prepare the day before longer marination and fullest flavour!

Ingredients

2black cod steaks (or filets)
1/4 cupMirin
1/4 cupsake
4 tbspwhite miso paste
3 tbspgranulated sugar

Preparation

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients: mirin, sake, miso paste, sugar
  2. Marinate fish for 1 to 24 hours
  3. Preheat your over to 400F
  4. Brown the fish on both sides in a very hot pan
  5. Cook in oven for 10-15 minutes
