Ginger & Pear Muffin Recipe


Ingredients

200gwheat flour
100gspelt flour
2 tspbaking powder
1/2 tspbaking soda
1/2 tspsalt
1 tspground ginger
80gsugar
1egg
100mLginger beer
80mLmilk
200gpears, peeled, deseeded, cubed
3 tbsphoney
85gmelted butter
100ghazelnuts
50gsunflower seeds

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200*F.
  2. Sift wheat and spelt flour.
  3. Mix in baking powder, soda, salt, ground ginger, sugar, nuts and seeds.
  4. In separate dish, combine beaten egg, honey, milk, beer, butter and pears.
  5. Add wet ingredients to the dry ones. Mix well,
  6. Pour muffins into baking tins. Bake for 20 minutes.
