Cinnamon Bun Recipe


Ingredients

75gbutter
250mLmilk
25gyeast
75gsugar
1/2 tspsalt
1/2 tspcardamom
500gflour
40gbutter, melted
50gsugar
1/2 tbspcinnamon
1egg, whisked
sugar, to sprinkle tops of buns

Preparation

  1. Melt butter, add milk, mix, add yeast, mix until it dissolves.
  2. Put the mixture in large bowl, add sugar, salt, cardamom, flour, knead the dough, cover the bowl with a cloth and keep it warm for 30-40 minutes until it rises.
  3. Preheat oven to 250*F.
  4. Knead the dough once again, take half of it and roll it to form square, brush it with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  5. Roll it up, cut slices 4 cm thick. Put each slice at the baking tray, keep it warm for 30 minutes until it rises.
  6. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Bake until golden brown, about 8 minutes.
