Cheesecake Brownies Recipe

This recipe combines two dessert favourites into one devilishly delicious treat!


1/2 cupbutter, melted (or less)
1 cupsugar (or less)
1 tspvanilla extract
1/2 cupall-purpose flour
1/3 cupcocoa
1/4 tspbaking powder
1/4 tspsalt
1/2 cupcream cheese
1egg (or egg white)
2 tbspsugar


  1. Stir butter, sugar, and vanilla together.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Separately, mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt together.
  4. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture. Stir well.
  5. Spread most of the brownie batter evenly into a prepared pan, set aside a few tablespoons.
  6. Using an electric mixer, beat together the cream cheese, egg and sugar until smooth.
  7. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter.
  8. Drop dollops of the remaining brownie batter onto the cheesceake. You can even swirl the batters together to create a marble effect.
  9. Bake 30 minutes at 180*C (toothpick test).
  10. Cool in the pan. Cut into bars and serve.
