Chocolate Berry Brownies Recipe

Add a little extra flavour to your usual brownies with this melt in your mouth chocolatey recipe.

| 10 mL | water |
| 8 mL | cranberry syrup |
| juice from 1/2 lemon | |
| 50g | dried cherries |
| 30g | dark chocolate, chopped |
| 1 package | instant chocolate cake (500g) |
| 10g | pistachios, chopped |
| powdered sugar |
Preparation
- Preheat over to 180°C with rack in center.
- Boil water, syrup and citron juice.
- Add the cherries and cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove pan from heat and take the cherries out of the pan. Boil again until it has reached a syrup-like consistency.
- Butter a 24x24 cm dish.
- Pour chocolate cake mixture into the dish. Mix in the chopped chocolate and cherries as well.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from over, let it cool.
- Garnish with the syrup and pistachios. Powder with icing sugar.
