Shrimp toast


200g deveined and finely chopped shrimp
1/2 of a finely chopped carrot
1 Tbsp of chopped cilantro
1 garlic clove, crushed and finely chopped
1 tbsp of cornstarch
1 CAT of salt
1 CAT of white pepper
4 slices of white or brown bread, crusts removed and cut into triangles
Enough oil to fry in a pan


1- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients.
2- Using a small spoon, garnish the triangles with the stuffing on one side only.
3- Place the triangles in a plate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
4- In a pan over medium-high heat, add the oil to provide a good layer. Wait until the oil is very hot.
5- Take the triangles out of the refrigerator and place them, shrimp side down, in the hot oil. Cook for one or two minutes, taking care to turn them over.
6- Place them on a plate with a paper towel to absorb the oil. Taste.
