1 pkg (375 g) | HEALTHY HARVEST ® Whole Wheat Spaghetti |
2 tbsp (30 mL) | olive oil |
1 | finely chopped onion |
1 each | red or yello pepper, cut into thin strips |
1 cup (250 ml) | chopped snow peas |
1 jar (700 mL) | Pasta Sauce |
2 tbsp (30 mL) | chopped fresh parsley or basil |
1 tbsp (15 ml) | cornstarch |
1 cup (250 ml) | homemade or prepared chicken stock |
Optional | Salt and Pepper |
1 | Cook spaghetti according to package directions. |
2 | Heat oil in a skillet set over medium heat; sauté onion, carrot, zucchini and pepper until tender. Stir in pasta sauce and parsley; heat through. |
3 | Toss hot spaghetti with sauce and sprinkle with cheese, if desired. |
