|2 jars (700 mL each)||Pasta Sauce|
|1 lb (500 g)||lean ground beef or pork|
|2||finely chopped green onions|
|¾ cup (175 mL)||dry bread crumbs|
|¼ cup (50 mL)||grated Parmesan Cheese|
|1 tsp (5 mL)||each: dried parsley flakes and oregano leaves|
|2 tbsp (30 mL)||vegetable oil|
|1/3 cup (75 mL)||water|
Mix together first six ingredients. Shape into about 24-28 meatballs; set aside.
Brown meatballs in oil. Stir in pasta sauce and water; simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Serve spaghetti topped with meatballs, sauce and cheese.
