MVP Spaghetti with Meatballs

4 to 6

Ingredients

1 pkg (375 g)CATELLI® Spaghetti
2 jars (700 mL each)Pasta Sauce
1 lb (500 g)lean ground beef or pork
2finely chopped green onions
¾ cup (175 mL)dry bread crumbs
¼ cup (50 mL)grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp (5 mL)each: dried parsley flakes and oregano leaves
1beaten egg
2 tbsp (30 mL)vegetable oil
1/3 cup (75 mL)water

Preparation

Mix together first six ingredients. Shape into about 24-28 meatballs; set aside.

Brown meatballs in oil. Stir in pasta sauce and water; simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Serve spaghetti topped with meatballs, sauce and cheese.
