1 pkg (500 g) | CATELLI® FUSILLI |
1-5 | small smoked sausages |
1/4 cup (50 mL) | butter |
1/4 cup (50 mL) | flour |
3 cups (750 mL) | warm 1% or 2% milk |
3 cups (750 mL) | shredded Cheddar cheese |
1 | Cook fusilli according to package directions. |
2 | Heat sausages and slice into rounds. |
3 | Melt butter. Add flour; cook and stir 3-4 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk; cook, stirring constantly until just thickened. Season to taste with salt. Remove from heat. Add cheese; stir until cheese melts. Add fusilli and sausage; toss to coat. |
4 | Serve topped with tomato, if desired. |
